Dover Greens officials participated in the evening planning board meeting at the Dover town hall on Monday, May 2, 2016, to update the board regarding the project’s recent progress.

During the meeting, the rebranding of Olivet Management to Dover Greens LLC and its recent restructuring of personnel were introduced. The planning board members were presented with the university’s Permission-to-Operate and K-12 Charter documents issued by New York State Department of Education.

In addition, the recent successful settlement with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and the NYS grant on abatement projects were reported. County officials including the Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro and county sheriff Butch Anderson showed supports on expediting reviews necessary for the infrastructure improvements.

Dover Greens officials shared their short term plan to build “Dover Tech Park” at the southern portion of the property, which will serve as IT Research and Development center. The cluster of six buildings has been used until 2009 by New York State and are in good conditions, which can bring a huge opportunity to create immediate source of new jobs and to foster much needed business activity in the area.

During next few weeks, Dover Greens and its consultants will focus on completing all documentations to receive SEQR (State Environmental Quality Review) determination.
