In the first face to face meeting since arriving in the Town of Dover in July of 2013 Dover Greens officials were officially greeted by Dutchess County Sheriff Adrian “Butch” Anderson.

The 90 minute took place at Sheriff Anderson’s main office located in the City of Poughkeepsie and focused on the progress of the Dover Greens Project and its long term plan to help stimulate the economy in and around Dover and the greater Harlem Valley region.

During the meeting Dover Greens officials thanked the sheriff for publicly supporting them at a previous event with the Sheriff responding by saying he wanted to see the project succeed.

“It is good to see young, energetic people come into Dutchess County with new projects that will only help all the people who live in the county,” said Sheriff Anderson. “I will do what I can to encourage others to accept you as new neighbors and to keep trespassers off the property you now own.”

After the meeting Dover Greens officials thanked the Sheriff for his input and advice and assured him Dover Greens would keep him updated on the progress of the project.

Dover Greens is presently working with the Town of Dover Planning Board and other town officials as they move steadily through the Phase 1 Site Plan approval process.
