As the summer 2014 approaches, Dover Greens continues to make steady progress with the Dover Greens Project. The focus is on the Master Planning process and beginning construction on Building 23; the main administration building centrally located on the front of the property.
This past winter, representatives from Dover Greens met with Town officials and their consultants to discuss the Project’s application. The Master Planning process includes preparing an environmental impact statement that will be written by a team of experts who crafted the comprehensive environmental impact statement for the former Dover Knolls project.
At this time, design/abatement plans for Building 23 are being created by the project’s architect, engineer and environmental consultant. Once those plans are reviewed, approved and permits secured, the team will move forward with abatement of the main administration building and then apply for the proper permits to bring the building up to code.
“Many positive activities have taken place concerning the Dover Greens Project,” said Dover Greens CEO Kathy Schibanoff. “We have been working closely with OSHA and all other regulatory agencies to resolve their concerns. We continue to make step by step progress with Town of Dover officials in regards to beginning construction and we have not lost our initial energy and vision to make the Dover Greens Project a reality heading into the future.”
