The Dover Greens Project is making notable progress in the restoration of the site over the past few weeks.
Street lights lining Wheeler Road on the east side of the Dover Greens Project in Dover have been turned back on. Electricity was restored to the street lamps, which received new heads and fresh coats of paint on the poles. The lights illuminate the main road leading into the entrance of the property. Crews are currently working on also turning on the street lights on Hutchinson Avenue.
Brewster Street, the road in front of the buildings running parallel to Route 22, was newly paved. Work on replacing street lamps on Brewster Street will begin next week.
Cleaning on the building exteriors have revealed the unique architectural features of the buildings, including color of the brick walls and textured white marble accents on some buildings.
Ongoing landscaping to trim trees and shrubs, combined with mowing, has helped uncover the sweeping lawns of the property.
